The rural subdivisions of recent years are predominately acreage, averaging one to three acres. Whereas the subdivisions of yesteryear offer smaller lots and higher density in housing. The demands in housing needs have changed dramatically over the years and it shows in style and size of houses. There are very few opportunities for public beach access, therefore, homes in private waterfront communities are very desirable. Many views are from high cliffs with no beach access. River front allows expansive views and private piers, fishing and great crabbing.
